Peggy-Sue has 9 years banking experience with Investec Group. She joined Investec Bank UK, the Investec Asset Management division in 2004 as an Analyst with the Fixed Income Team. Her main function was credit analysis covering European Telecommunications, Media and Technology (TMT) sector. Top-down economic research analysis for Emerging Markets coverage with a focus on the following countries: Hungary, Poland, Czech, Slovakia and South Africa; with a focus on two asset classes: bonds and currencies. In addition, she also covered macro analysis on global markets, in particularly the US and Japan.
In November 2006 Peggy-Sue returned to South Africa and joined Investec Corporate and Institutional Banking as an Investment Consultant within the Corporate Business Development division. She is responsible for leveraging and orchestrating the bank’s resources and expertise. Her role is to ensure the efficient servicing of a full spectrum of financial products, from corporate finance to treasury services, by adding value to clients. She is also active around macroeconomic research and contributes to economic forecasting within the bank. Peggy-Sue is also a member of the South African General Management Forum of the bank.
